Leeds Co-op Travel has bought Barnsley-based travel company Dunstan Brearley for an undisclosed sum.The acquisition gives Leeds Co-op two retail shops in Barnsley and a call centre.
Leeds Co-op general manager Paul Daley said:”This fits in well with our business approach and their skill in the growing telesales and Internet sectors adds new channels of distribution to our operation.”
All 57 staff will be retained, and the business will continue to trade as Dunstan Brearley.
“It’s established such a strong name for itself – the good will is in the name and the quality of the staff,” he added.
