Special Report: Travel Weekly unveils 11th edition of Take Off in Travel

Travel companies are invited to make use of free careers resource – in print and online – to attract the next generation of industry talent

Travel Weekly has once again teamed up with some of the biggest names in the travel trade to provide a FREE careers resource to help attract young people to the industry.

Now in its 11th year, Take Off in Travel is a 76-page prospectus-style publication which is sent in print format to colleges and universities and is also fully available on a free-to-access website at takeoffintravel.co.uk.

All content can be used by travel companies in their own outreach and recruitment efforts, with the publication offered in downloadable format and with all online content accessible across all devices.

The 2025 edition was unveiled at the ITT Future You conference at this year’s World Travel Market and has been produced in association with long-term partner Abta and the UK’s largest independent travel agency, Hays Travel, which returns for a third year as headline sponsor.

As with previous editions, it is packed with information about what it’s like to work in travel, plus careers advice and interviews with people in various roles across the industry.
