British Airways Holidays has reduced the cost of a two-night break in Florence by £70 for departures until August 31. The £319 price includes bed and breakfast at the four-star Hotel Rivoli and scheduled flights from Gatwick.

Ski Independence has added the French resorts of Les Deux Alpes and Les Houches to its Ski-Drive France and Switzerland brochure. It has also increased the number of large apartments for up to eight people to meet growing demand from families and groups.
