Holiday Autos launches fourth training module


Holiday Autos is unveiling the fourth module of its agent training course which focuses on the Ski Max programme.



The car-rental company aims to release a new module for agents every six months, at a cost of approximately £20,000, highlighting a different area and innovative ways of improving sales.



The modules have a self-teach design in which agents complete a questionnaire to demonstrate their understanding. When successful they are added to a central database so they needn’t repeat the training when changing shops. To date, 60,000 agents have completed at least one module.



Also, a new point-of-sale promotion has been launched, offering travel bags to customers making bookings. The six-week promotion has been launched with Travelworld and Midlands Co-op.



Holiday Autos is presently working on more consumer giveaways with other multiples and miniples. Offers are due to begin when giveaway items are decided on. The promotion is designed to provide a simple way for agents to push car rental as presently only 15% of customers take up hire deals.
