Northeast travel agency Freedom Direct, which specialises in late deals on Teletext, has launched a recruitment drive as it prepares to relocate. The company, which has a turnover of £25m, is looking for 50 staff for a variety of roles.
* BA Holidays cuts price of paris break
British Airways Holidays is cutting the price of atwo-night stay at thetwo-star Belgrand Hotel in Paris by £56 for departures November 1 to December 14. Prices now start at £99 including scheduled flights.
* ABTA to hold crisis management seminars
ABTA is staging a crisis management seminar at its Newman Street offices next month. It will discuss how companies can create an emergency action plan and how to deal with the aftermath of an incident. The seminar takes place on November 21.
* ABC holiday offers on-airport parking
ABC Holiday extra has introduced an on-airport car park at Prestwick Airport. Agents can pre-book the car park, which is walking distance from the terminal, for £20 for eight days.
