Panorama expands pre-bookable seat option

PANORAMA has expanded the pre-bookable seat option it introduced last year to the majority of flights in its second-edition Tunisia summer 2000 brochure.

Sales and marketing director Martin Young said 50% of customers who have made a booking from the 2000 brochure have opted to pre-book seats.

Passengers can also pre-book flight upgrades, airport lounges and suites in a number of hotels featured in the brochure.

The operator has added three new properties which are featured in a dedicated all-inclusive section, bringing the number of all-inclusives to four. A new resort, Tabarka, has been added for 2000.

Young said:”Tabarka is like the green part of Spain and is suited to the outdoor types who enjoy golf, diving and walking.”

The brochure’s lead-in price is £179 for seven nights’ bed and breakfast at the Hotel Les Citronniers in Hammamet.

Meanwhile, Panorama has set up a dedicated ski department to coincide with the launch of its preview Ski and Snowboard 2000/2001 brochure. Clients with queries, or who want to make bookings, can use a dedicated telephone number or e-mail address to be put through to staff who have first-hand knowledge of all the resorts.

The brochure lead-in price is £225 per person for seven nights’ self-catering in Andorra.
