The Space Coast
This 72-mile stretch of secluded seashore, some 45 minutes’ drive east of Orlando, is highlighting the new attractions in place at the Kennedy Space Centre along with nearby holiday resort areas.
Other key promotions are new eco tours featuring an abundance of bird and marine life that can be seen along the Space Coast, which takes in Titusville, Cocoa Beach, Melbourne and Palm Bay, as well as Daytona Beach.
Representatives from the Kennedy Space Centre will be detailing its £120 million expansion of visitor facilities.
These include the Astronaut Encounter show, Early Space Exploration exhibits, Robot Scouts walk-through exhibition and Quest for Life film show.
Also new is a Nature and Technology show that highlights how the Space Centre and the nearby Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge co-exist in harmony.
