THOMASCOOK.COM is to sponsor a new television programme
called Global E-Missions.
The show features three groups of three people who will
travel the world to complete challenges set by viewers who visit the Global E-Missions
website.
A spokesman for Thomascook.com said: “A viewer in Ireland
may email the contestants and say, ‘go and visit the Guinness brewery and drink
ten pints of the stuff’ and they would go and do it. The best suggestions will
broadcast 10 days later, it’s a reality TV programme.”
Prizes will be awarded to members of the public whose
missions are selected.
The programme is being produced by Carlton and will be
broadcast on ITV between July 26 and October 17.
Thomascook.com will supply flights for the contestants and
has backed the Global E-Missions website.
