Anheuser-busch launches major UK promotion

ANHEUSER-Busch Adventure
Parks has launched a major promotion aimed at the UK market.

“After
the upheaval the industry has suffered over the past two months, UK visitors
have voted with their feet by coming back to our parks and we are going to make
sure that when they do visit they have the best holiday possible,” said
Janeche Petrou, corporate senior manager sales UK/Europe/Pacific Rim.

“We are
totally dedicated to the UK market and are committed to building our UK
business still further.”

Anheuser-Busch
has also extended its three-in-one Discovery Cove offer, which includes
admission to Discovery Cove and an Adventure Passport allowing 21 days entry in
SeaWorld, Florida, and Busch Gardens, Tampa Bay.

The package
is available exclusively through Keith Prowse until December 31 but will then
be rolled out to other selected operators.

Prices
start at £89 per person for a non-dolphin swim at Discovery Cove and an
Adventure Passport, or £169 with a dolphin swim.

In
addition, Anheuser Busch will be issuing visitors with $10 worth of ‘Busch
Bucks’ that can be redeemed at its Busch Gardens theme park.

The
deal applies for every Busch Gardens ticket sold until January 13 from selected
trade partners.

In a story published on travelweekly.co.uk earlier this week and repeated in
today’s edition of the Travel Weekly newspaper distributed at World Travel
Market, it was implied Anheuser-Busch was involved in a joint promotion with
rival Universal Orlando Resorts. This was incorrect and occurred due to a
production error.
