OPODO is
to get its British launch on January 22, Travel Weekly can reveal.
The
European-wide on-line travel company will offer flights from 480 airlines, 54,
500 hotel properties and car rental from 23,500 locations worldwide.
Opodo is a
joint venture between Aer Lingus, Air France, Alitalia, Austrian Airlines,
British Airways, Finnair, Iberia, KLM and Lufthansa although it will operate
independently from its owners. Its German operation was launched in November
last year and in time it will be rolled out across the rest of the continent.
