FLIGHTS DELAYED BY ATC PROBLEMS

FLIGHTS from UK airports are returning to normal after widespread
delays caused by air traffic control problems.

An error with National Air Traffic Services data processing
at its Heathrow base led to airlines being grounded and flights delayed as it
was not safe to fly.

NATS chief executive Richard Everitt said the issue was now
resolved and flights should be back to normal. Just two weeks ago a similar
problem caused delays for UK services.
