FCm Travel Solutions has selected travel management company Flytour as its partner to head up business in Latin America as it continues to expand.
The deal means that corporate travel specialist FCm now has a presence in all continents – just over a year since its launch. Flytour has become a licensee of FCm and will be co-branded with its logo.
Based in São Paulo, Flytour is the largest ticket issuer in Latin America, with $220 million generated by corporate travel and has its own online booking tools, including Flytour.com.
Its business travel clients include Avon, Canon, Credit Suisse and Ericsson and it plans agreements with Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela on behalf of FCm.
FCm chief executive Anthony Grigson said: “The business culture in Latin America is built around personal relationships and two major languages. It’s vital for us to have the region managed by a local specialist travel management company.”
Flytour president and owner Eloi D’Avila de Oliveira will take on the role of regional president of Latin America.
