The Truly Independent Professional Travel Organisation has launched an online communication tool Ask TIPTO, which allows agents to ask each other questions.
The facility on the association’s website allows member agents to ask member operators and agents questions. Individual members can be asked question or the whole membership can be polled.
Around 2,000 independent agents have registered to use the website.
TIPTO chairman Colin Wilson said: “Agents want the site to be even more interactive and give them access to the combined travel knowledge and experience of all members.
“We are happy for them to throw any question at us.”
