Surrey-based independent agency Avant Garde Travel ceased trading on October 15, said ABTA.
The company, which has offices in Cobham, Esher, Surbiton and Weybridge, is unable to meet its liabilities. ABTA said it believes that all bookings were done on a retail basis. All claims will be handled by ABTA’s claim handling partner, CEGA.
The family-owned company also traded under the following names: Ministry of Sound Holidays, Clubber’s Guide, Ibiza Trips, Explorer Travel, Trips, Ibiza Trips, Italian Treasures, Mountain Wild, MV Golf, Ski World and The Trips.
Its Surbiton office specialised in the music and dance industry and counted clubs Manumission, Ministry of Sound and Cream among its clients.
