EasyJet to target corporate travellers

EasyJet is to focus on targeting corporate business travellers, revealed easyJet’s distribution development manager Jerry Dunn at yesterday’s Travolution conference in London.

The airline has focused on direct sell to consumers through its website and does not give commission to travel agencies. Despite this up to 10% of its sales are from third parties.

He said: “Online leisure agents are the ones that have the most concern for us.”

He confirmed the low-cost airline had no interest in distributing through the leisure market or travel agencies but would be updating its technology to allow business travellers easier access to its services.
