Kosmar has launched weddings for the first time this summer to Santorini, Rhodes and Cyprus.
The operator has added a six-page weddings section to its second-edition Summer Sun 2008 programme, offering Orchid, Lily and Iris wedding packages.
Orchid is the top offering, including 30 photographs, a bouquet of lilies, the groom’s buttonhole, wedding cake, local champagne and a 30-minute DVD of the wedding.
The lead-in price for the Iris package to Cyprus is £399 including 30 photos, a posy of roses, groom’s buttonhole, and local champagne.
Managing director Abhi Dighe said one of the selling points was that family and friends could stay in more economical accommodation offered by the operator, while the bride and groom could stay in a five-star hotel.
Demand has already exceeded expectations, he added. “People who have already booked holidays with us are coming back to organise their wedding to take place during their holiday.”
The brochure also features extra accommodation in Parga on mainland Greece, Cyprus and Bulgaria.
