Cadogan Holidays has rejoined the Association of Independent Tour Operators in a bid to increase its sales through the trade.
Sales manager Jon Gardner said the operator had originally left the association seven years ago because of a decision made by the previous managing director, Gary David.
But now, as more than 80% of the operator’s sales are made through the trade, the company has decided to build more links with agents, and in particular those that are members of the AITO Specialist Travel Agents group.
He added: “AITO consists of a group of like-minded operators supported by a lot of very high-quality travel agents, some of whom we work with already. However, there are others we want to work more closely with.
“The AITO agents are knowledgeable about independent travel and offer what’s right for their customers.”
