Cadogan Holidays has launched a new programme aimed at cashing in on the growing experience-based market.
Managing director Tom Allen said the new Inspirational Experiences brochure is being launched on Friday, May 16 in time for the winter 2008/09 season.
The 52 experiences and excursions, ranging from hot-air balloon rides to turtle-watching, will also be sold through the operator’s other programmes while it is also preparing to sell more twin-centre breaks in order to satisfy customers’ growing desires to see more abroad.
He added: “Cadogan traditionally sold single centre fly-and-flop holidays and we’re definitely moving to a lot more dual centre holidays with a lot more experiences arranged up front.”
Allen added many of the experiences are also already on sale in time for the summer season and are fully commissionable while the operator is even hoping to soon offer customers a restaurant booking service.
He said: “It’ll increase the value of bookings but also if we stand still we will end up in a battle with all our other rival tour operators it is very important that companies set themselves slightly apart from each other and offer different services.”
