First Choice has pulled its Bahamas programme due to a lack of demand.
The summer-only programme, which used fortnightly flights departing from Manchester and featured five properties, will cease at the end of the summer season in October.
A spokeswoman said: “As is usual business practice for any tour operator, First Choice continually evaluates the performance of its destinations, ensuring that it understands where it is performing well.
“Unfortunately, a lack of demand for Bahamas holidays has greatly decreased the profitability of this destination.”
She added the operator will continue to run programmes in seven other Caribbean destinations including Jamaica, Barbados, the Dominican Republic, Aruba and Cuba.
