Malaga is being added by Blue Air to its low fare network from Liverpool John Lennon airport.
Flights to the Costa Del Sol airport will run from June 5 with two flights a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays with fares starting at £31.70.
The new Malaga route will join flights to Palma also starting this summer.
The Romanian carrier is running a flash sale this weekend with 15% discounts for travel from Liverpool until October 27.
Blue Air serves seven destinations across Europe from Liverpool including Milan, Rome, Alicante, Majorca and several locations in Romania.
Chief commercial officer Tudor Constantinescu said: “Blue Air is delighted to now be taking our passengers directly to the sunshine this summer with this new route to Malaga from Liverpool John Lennon airport. Malaga is an incredibly popular destination and we can’t wait to commence our first flight in June.
“Our arrival at Liverpool John Lennon airport, just under 12 months ago, has been a huge success, and we’re looking forward to welcoming even more passengers this year.
“Our 15% off flash sale will encourage passengers to dream of escaping the winter weather for sunny skies.”
Airport aviation development director Paul Winfield said: “Blue Air’s operations continue to go from strength to strength and we are naturally delighted to see one of Europe’s fastest growing airlines announce more departures from Liverpool, adding another new route to their list of destinations from here.”
