Independent travel management company Inntel has employed five new consultants to join a expanding in-house out of hours service.
The new recruits will support the existing out of hours team which provides support to corporate clients wanting to book business accommodation and travel outside office opening hours.
Between them, the new staff members – Phil Kidby, Farida Mohamed, Ripinder Dhody, Axel Bikinkita and Constance Wilcox – have more than 80 years’ experience in the business travel industry coming from TMCs across the UK.
Inntel also provides a bespoke online booking tool, iCentral, allowing clients to book, amend or cancel accommodation, travel and meetings electronically, receiving immediate confirmation.
However, chief executive Douglas O’Neill said it was essential to offer both technological and human booking support.
“Clients can of course book through iCentral – our 24 hour online booking platform – at any time, however, many clients who are looking to make and amend bookings late at night or due sudden business travel changes often prefer to speak to an expert consultant for reassurance as last-minute changes can be a stressful situation, particularly when travelling abroad or somewhere unfamiliar.
“By operating a fully in-house out of hours service, we can oversee performance and identify training areas to ensure the same high level of service is delivered to our clients 24 hours a day.”
