APT to ‘push the boat out’ with early booking deals

River cruising specialist APT says it is “pushing the boat out” with its early booking offers for 2019.

Couples booking before February 28 can make joint savings of up to £4,836 on peak summer time breaks, the operator says.

Other deals include free premium economy flights on selected packages.

Highlights of the operator’s New Year Sale include a saving of £2,418 per person on APT’s 15-day Magnificent Europe itinerary from Amsterdam to Budapest, which features a rail journey on the Grand Empress Steam train, a tour and dining experience at Namedy Castle and a private classical concert featuring members of the Mozart’s Boys Choir at the City Palace in Vienna. Trips run from April to December 2019, priced from £3,495 per person.

APT is offering free premium economy upgrades on its 15-day Luxury Vietnam & Cambodia Highlights tour from Siam Reap to Ho Chi Minh City. It includes seven nights cruising on the Mekong, visits to the Angkor Wat archaeological park, tours of Cambodia’s capital Phnom Pehn, Royal Palace and infamous Khmer Rouge Killing Fields, and Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). It starts at £4,345 per person from July 2019 to April 2020 departures.

Savings of up to £1,000 per couple are available on APT’s 17-day Essential Treasures of Australia tour, which includes Sydney, Melbourne, Cairns, Hamilton Island, the Great Barrier Reef, Uluru and a behind-the-scenes visit to the Alice Springs Flying Doctors station, from £5,745 per person.
