SABRE has introduced a technology tool that will make it easier for agents to request upgrades on flights for their clients.
Frequent Flyer Automatic Upgrade allows agents to request the upgrade during the reservation process. Agents can also request special meals, specific seats and travelling companion upgrades in one entry.
Previously, upgrade requests had to be made at check-in. Sabre is launching the enhancement with American Airlines.
