A&K said in a statement: “This strong team underpins the ongoing commitment to the trade from both brands, offering a comprehensive spectrum of luxury products and services to agent partners.
“2020 is a big year for the A&K Group on the back of a year of significant change in 2019; a majority stake in A&K was acquired by investment company the Heritage Group, headed by Manfredi Lefebvre d’Ovidio whose family founded ultra-luxury cruise company Silversea.”
Kerry Golds, A&K managing director, said: “The trade is a crucial pillar of our business and has only gone from strength to strength over recent years.
“Richard’s expertise will be vital in an exciting time for A&K and C&K respectively.
“With both agency sales teams now focussed on providing specialist knowledge, we have a solid platform on which to further pioneer the world of luxury travel with our trade partners.”
Hey commented: “A&K has been ground-breaking the world of luxury since its inception. I am excited to be joining a market leader in luxury travel at an impressive time in its history.”
