Free holidays in the Caribbean will be given to eight frontline NHS workers in recognition of their fight against coronavirus.
The selected winners and a guest will be given a five-night all-inclusive stay at Cap Maison in St Lucia once the pandemic is over and travel restrictions have been lifted.
Friends or family will be encouraged to nominate an NHS worker who they think deserves the holiday and the reason why.
The accommodation-only stays can be taken at the family-run hotel between October and July next year.
Winners will be contacted via the individual that nominated them.
General manager Ross Stevenson said: “While we appreciate it is currently not possible to travel, we want to show our thanks to the NHS for everything they are doing to keep our families in the UK and guests well by giving a select few a well-deserved holiday once the pandemic is over.
“These are the people who are on the frontline every day, fighting this pandemic and saving lives.”
Entries can be submitted by August 31 via www.capmaison.com/nhs Winners will be announced on September 4.
