Netflights is providing a branded flight search and booking platform for London City airport in a new partnership.
A new site has been built with the Netflights infrastructure and will be supported by a dedicated sales and customer service team within the brand.
As well as being able to access prices for thousands of flights across a range of airlines, visitors to the site will be fed targeted deals for destinations directly connected by airlines using the airport.
It will also enable them to make connections internationally such as Singapore via Frankfurt with Lufthansa.
Airport marketing director Neil Dillon described the deal with Netflights as delivering a “significant upgrade to our digital direct-sell capability” while adding value to customers.
“This partnership importantly increases the marketing support we can offer to our airlines, as we resume commercial flights this week. It also reaffirms our strong brand positioning as a truly global airport, serving Europe and beyond.”
Netflights managing director Andrew Shelton said: “Our team has worked incredibly hard with their London City airport counterparts to deliver this partnership – in somewhat difficult circumstances lately – so it’s great to see it go live.
“We’re looking forward to using our expertise in all things aviation to help London City airport customers find, buy and take the best flights, whether for business or leisure purposes, and it will be exciting for us to support London City airport as global flying recovers.”
