Birmingham International Airport has opened the £40m link between its two terminals. The Queen performed the ceremony to join the main terminal with British Airways’ Eurohub terminal. The development is part of a £260m plan to provide a 10m passenger capacity airport by 2005.

GBAirways is providing a day return flight to Lisbon from Gatwick for the first time this summer. From March 27, the British Airways franchise has retimed its flights to give a morning departure from Gatwick and an evening return from Portugal.
