Jet2holidays suspends mainland Spain and Croatia until November

Jet2holidays has cancelled all departures to mainland Spain and Croatia up to and including October 31, 2020.

Croatia was removed from the UK government’s ‘safe lists’ on August 20, meaning the FCO advises against travel there and Brits would have to quarantine for 14 days on their arrival home.

Spain was removed from the government’s ‘safe lists’ on July 25.

All of Jet2holidays’ Croatia departures before November will be automatically cancelled by Jet2holidays, with full refunds issued to customers. No action required by travel agents on trade bookings.

In a communication to agents, the operator said: “Jet2holidays have taken the decision to extend the suspension of our flights and holidays programme to Croatia due to the continued Covid-19 pandemic.”

In a separate communication to agents, Jet2 said confirmed its holidays to mainland Spain, including Malaga, Alicante and Barcelona, were cancelleduntil the same dates.

It added: “We still have plenty of holidays available to alternative destinations including The Algarve, Greece, Cyprus and Turkey next week for your customers to rebook.”
