Jet2holidays has extended the suspension of its package holidays to Greek islands Zante and Crete.
The operator paused its programme to the islands until September 20 on Tuesday – but the latest move halts its entire shoulder season to the destinations.
The UK government announced on Monday that travellers returning to England from seven Greek islands – including Zante and Crete – must self-isolate for 14 days.
Wales and Scotland had already introduced the quarantine restrictions on the islands.
Customers will be entitled to a full refund.
In an update to travel agent partners, Jet2holidays said: “Jet2holidays have taken the decision to extend the suspension of our flights and holidays programme to Crete and Zante due to the continued Covid-19 Pandemic.
“We still have plenty of holidays available to alternative destinations including The Algarve, Kos, Rhodes, Corfu, Kefalonia, Cyprus and Turkey next week for your customers to rebook.”
