Audley Travel extends flexible cancellations policy

Audley Travel has extended a flexible cancellation pledge introduced in the summer in a bid to bolster consumer confidence in booking with the tailor-made specialist.

Available since  June, clients can continue to rearrange trips without any amendment fee, up to 45 days before they are due to travel.

To qualify, the trip must be booked by December 31 and travel dates can be moved to departures up until the end of 2022.

Audley will offer a full refund if Foreign Office travel advice changes, including quarantine restrictions, and a client is not able to rearrange their holiday to a future date.

Additional charges may be incurred based on the changes to the trip such as accommodation and/or seasonality, according to the company.

Extra flexibility available on European trips to destinations including Austria, Belgium, Croatia, France, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Scotland and Spain means that travellers who book by December 31 can cancel up to 14 days before the scheduled departure date and receive a full refund.

The operator’s head of product, Alex Bentley, said: “Many of our clients are keen to travel again to make up for the lost opportunity in 2020.

“Therefore, we are delighted to be able to extend our flexible cancellation promise through to the end of 2022 to give them full flexibility in their plans and enable them to book with us in absolute confidence.”
