HAL deploys six ships in Alaska for summer 2021

Six Holland America Line ships will be deployed in Alaska in 2021.

Eurodam, Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Oosterdam and Volendam are to operate between April and September.

Sailings are planned from Seattle and Vancouver, or one-way between Whitter for Anchorage in Alaska and Vancouver.

Fifteen itineraries combine a three-, four- or seven-day cruise with an inland tour of up to three nights at Denali National Park and Preserve in Alaska’s interior.

Every journey includes a train ride on the glass-domed McKinley Explorer train.

HAL president Gus Antorcha said: “We’re seeing strong interest for next summer’s Alaska season as people anticipate being able to get out again, travel and spend time with family and friends.

“Alaska has a natural beauty and an aura that are unmatched, and it’s right in our backyard. If you want to have an immersive experience, see Glacier Bay and go up to the Yukon, no one does it better.

“We’re ready to return with plenty of options for everybody from couples to multi-generational families.”
