G Adventures predicts strong demand over next six months

Discounts of up to 30% and £1 deposits lead G Adventures new year booking promotion.

The Great Adventure Sale includes more than 450 tours across the small group adventure operator’s 18-to-Thirtysomethings, Active, Classic, Family, Local Living, Marine, Rail and Wellness travel styles.

The sale offers 21% off the ‘My Own Room’ option for those wanting their own space.

The discounts are available for bookings made by Janaury 31 on tours departing between January 1, 2021 and March 31, 2022.

Travellers can cancel and rebook their trip up to 30 days before departure.

The price of a trek to Everest Base Camp (pictured) has been reduced from £1,049 to £829 excluding flights.

The operator’s EMEA managing director Brian Young said recent sales show there is pent-up travel demand and the sale gives agents an opportunity to capture bookings while travellers are keen to lock in their next holiday.

“As we reach the end of the year, travellers are increasingly starting to think about their 2021 holidays,” he said.

“Our recent cyber sale saw a 200% increase in new bookings from UK travellers. This shows  there is going to be strong demand in the market for adventure travel in the coming six months and The Great Adventure Sale gives agents who missed out during cyber sale the opportunity to capture a slice of the pie.

“We’ve also introduced a number of policies to help agents reassure travellers and to offer maximum flexibility during these changeable times.

“Agents can help travellers feel confident booking their next trip, with the reassurance and peace of mind that they can change the date should they need to further down the line.”
