John Fish Exhibitions is to hold its first Holiday and Travel Show in London in March 2001.
The company already stages the show annually in Manchester and Glasgow. Travel Weekly sponsors a trade day at these events, and will do so at the London show.
This event will be held at ExCeL, the new international exhibition centre under construction near the Millennium Dome in north Greenwich.
“In the past we have avoided the launch of a London event, feeling that no centre was attractive enough to accommodate the sort of audiences we generate – large numbers of the ABC1 socio-economic grouping,” said organiser John Fish.
“By adding London to our portfolio, we can offer exhibitors in the holiday and travel industry coverage of the UK with shows in the south, north and Scotland.”
