CHOICE Hotels Europe has added 80 new properties which have joined the franchise in the last year to its latest European directory.
The expanded portfolio is the result of the acquisition of Lyric Hotels, Oak Hotels and Chaseley Hotels in the UK as well as properties in France, Germany and many other European countries.
The boost in numbers is also due to Choice Hotels Scandinavia’s properties being included in the directory.
A spokeswoman for Choice Hotels Europe said: “Basically this is our largest ever European hotel directory because it is reflecting how busy Choice has been with its acquisitions. Last time there were 300 hotels featured and now there are 380.”
The directory gives descriptions of each property in English and the local language and includes location maps with details about access by road, air and rail.
The Quality, Comfort and Clarion brands in the directory are owned by US company Choice Hotels International but are franchised out to Friendly Hotels in Europe, whichoperates as Choice Hotels Europe.
