Eurostar has extended its summer booking period by a month to cope with expected travel demand.
The 20th anniversary of Disneyland Paris and the London Olympics are expected to spur numbers using the high-speed channel tunnel passenger service.
The booking window has been increased from July 15 to August 15, which is the typical Eurostar four month booking horizon.
Commercial director Nick Mercer said: “The summer months are always our busiest for leisure travel and with so many exciting events happening across Europe, we expect this summer to be more popular than ever.
“This is why we’ve extended our summer booking horizon to five months and we’re encouraging travellers to book early to avoid disappointment.”
