Passengers flying to Italy today have been warned of strike action by handling agents at Milan’s two airports.
EasyJet said it had been been notified of industrial action between 10am and and 6pm local time today.
“Currently we anticipate minimal disruption, however we advise all passengers to allow additional time for their journey through both Milan airports,” the airline said.
Meanwhile, cleaning staff at Rome Fiumicino Airport are staging a walk out.
“As a result the terminals and lavatories have not been cleaned with the same frequency as usual,” EasyJet advised passengers on its website.
