STA Travel claims to be the first UK travel company to offer the option to book and guarantee scheduled air fares with a low deposit of £49.
The ‘book now, pay later’ deposit by the youth travel specialist will guarantee seats and the price of the ticket at the time of reservation.
The £49 deposit offer is available on new flight bookings made from today (Friday) until May 31 on more than 50 scheduled carriers.
It is valid for outbound travel from the UK between June 28 and February 14, 2014.
The full balance of the fare will be due 10 weeks before departure and the £49 is non-refundable.
Marketing director Laurence Bresh said: “STA Travel is already known for offering flight prices that customers won’t find anywhere else. We are delighted to be the first company to also provide this exclusive ‘book now, pay later’ service to guarantee scheduled flight prices for anybody booking with us.”
