Martin Randall appointed to Abta board

Martin Randall Travel chief executive Martin Randall has been appointed to the Abta board.


He will represent principal members with a turnover of less than £50 million.


Randall entered the travel industry in 1979 and founded his cultural tours specialist operator in 1988, which has since grown to become the UK’s leading provider in the sector.


Abta chief executive Mark Tanzer said: “He brings with him more than 30 years industry experience and knowledge and his expertise in the specialist tour operator area will be a real asset to the association.”


Randall said: “I’m delighted to be joining the Abta board and am honoured and humbled as a specialist operator to be contributing to the work of this great organisation.”
