Three Advantage members have been shortlisted in a competition to win £10,000 worth of business consultancy announced at the consortium’s conference in Malaga.
Owners of each of the three shortlisted agencies – Ocky White Travel (Wales), Thompson Travel (Northern Ireland) and Worldwide Travel Solutions (Leeds) – will attend a Dragons’ Den-style interview in London on September 16 where they will give a short presentation and answer questions from a judging panel.
One member will win £10,000 worth of consultancy from Elman Wall, Lingua Communications, The Travel Trade Consultancy and Advantage.
Members entered the competition by detailing why they felt their business should win the prize.
The judging panel is made up of Jonathan Wall of Elman Wall; Karen Ramirez of Lingua Communications; Deborah Potts, of Summit Advisory (part of Elman Wall); Matt Purser of The Travel Trade Consultancy; and David Moon, head of business development at Advantage Travel Centres.
Moon said: “In deciding on the shortlisted applications the panel was keen to consider those businesses who would benefit most from the support and advice on offer and who would be best able to yield maximum value from the opportunity it represents.”
