Former Thomas Cook Canada mainstream vice president Steve Butchart has been recruited as chief executive of schools and sports clubs travel company Inspiresport.
He will further expand the Cardiff-based company both nationally and internationally.
Inspiresport is part of the Midcounties consortium and includes travel industry veterans Simon Powell and Richard Calvert as investors.
Powell, non executive chairman, said: “We are delighted to welcome Steve on board and to have someone of his calibre join us is testament to our ambition to further grow Inspiresport and to continue to provide market leading levels of service to our valued customers.”
