At least six people died when a tourist bus they were travelling in plunged into a ravine in Bali.
Four Chinese tourists, the Indonesian driver and tour guide of the bus were killed in Monday’s crash as the bus was travelling to the popular cliff-top Uluwatu temple.
At least three other Chinese nationals were still in hospital with serious injuries, according to China’s state media.
The bus was carrying 13 tourists from China’s Henan province, Xinhua news agency said.
An Indonesian official said the bus may have suffered engine failure, the BBC reported
Djoko Heru Utomo, police chief of Bali’s capital Denpasar, said the bus fell around 50ft into the ravine.
“When the bus was approaching the destination there seemed to be a sudden engine failure,” he told Agence-France Presse news agency.
