Thomson confirms Aphrodite Hills as a Sensatori for 2015

Thomson has confirmed Aphrodite Hills as its ninth Sensatori Resort.

The resort will become Sensatori Resort Aphrodite Hills from May 2015 and joins Sensatori Resorts Ibiza and Fethiye in Turkey.

The confirmation comes after months of talks between the hotel and Thomson. A deal was first announced by Thomson back in April, but the Cypriot hotel branded the announcement “premature” and the resort wasn’t put on sale.

The resort will be closed between November 2014 and May 2015 for refurbishment with new pools and swim-up rooms being created. Rooms will also be refurbished to fit the “Sensatori style”, Thomson said.

Mark Hall, director of product for Thomson and First Choice, said, “We’re delighted to announce that Sensatori Resort Aphrodite Hills is now on sale to customers looking to holiday in one of the most exclusively located resorts in Cyprus next summer.

“We are continuing to invest in improving our range of concept hotels, a trend which is actually accelerating, with a record level of investment set to be ploughed into our Sensatori resorts for summer 2015.

“By building on the fantastic existing infrastructure, we plan to bring the resorts on par with the unique 5T luxurious holiday experience our customers expect.”
