CONNECT Car Rental has gone live with a new reservation system that cuts the time it takes to make a booking from two-and-a half-minutes to just under 60secs.
The windows-based system, called Inter-Connect, cost £30,000 to develop and install, and enables the company’s agents to book car rental using just one screen instead of four. The new system also gives an immediate quote based on destination and date of travel, whereas agents used to have to key in potential clients’ details before getting a rate.
