An Airbus A380 super jumbo is to be flown daily by British Airways on the Heathrow-Singapore route from the winter.
The airline currently uses the 469-seat aircraft three times a week on its double-daily Singapore service operating alongside Boeing 777s.
An A380 in a four class configuration will operate daily on the route from December 14.
BA currently has nine of the double decker aircraft in its fleet flying to Johannesburg, Hong Kong, Singapore, Washington and Los Angeles.
An A380 will also be deployed on flights to Miami from October 25 and a tenth A380 joins the fleet in November.
The winter A380 BA11 service will depart from Heathrow at 7.10pm and the BA12 service will depart from Singapore Changi airport at 11.20pm local time each day.
Fares on the route start at £889 return, including taxes and charges. Special sale fares starting at £599 return are available until April 30.
BA head of UK and Ireland sales, Stephen Humphreys, said: “Scheduling the A380 on the Singapore route on a daily basis signals our commitment to the route and the region. It will allow us to fly even more customers from the UK to the Far East in style.”
Gwyneth Paltrow launched the A380 on the route to Singapore last October.
