UK-based travel industry event organiser Connections has been shortlisted in the sixth annual Eventex Awards.
Connections will be going up against the Microsoft Future Decoded and Conventa events in the best trade show category.
The awards are held as part of Eventex 2016, a global events showcase taking place in the Bulgarian capital Sofia next week.
Connections events bring together leading suppliers and buyers from around the globe in spectacular settings.
The invitation-only events have strictly limited numbers of guests, with unique and memorable experiences and thought-provoking sessions and debates designed to create the best environment for establishing lasting business relationships.
Connections is part of Travel Weekly Group, and runs events in the luxury and meetings and incentives arenas.
Eventex was launched in 2009 and has grown to become an international gathering of event professionals.
