Crystal Cruises to launch 12-seat charter jet service

Crystal Cruises has announced the addition of a third aircraft to its fleet.

In addition to the already announced Boeing 777 and a 787 Dreamliner, being launched in 2017 and 2018 respectively, Crystal has now revealed it will add a 12-seat Bombardier Global Express XRS jet to its fleet.

The new aircraft will enter service on April 3 and it will be part of the Crystal Luxury Air fleet.

Edie Rodriguez, president and chief executive, said: “Crystal Luxury Air will open tremendous possibilities for luxury travelers seeking the next level of ease and exclusivity during their journeys.

“And in the spirit of all things Crystal, and ensuring we offer tailor-made options, Crystal Luxury Air will give our travel agent partners and guests the ability to truly customize their holiday combining private flights with cruise, yacht, river, residence and air experiences.”

Chartered flights onboard the jet are available to book now. The jet will travel anywhere with a flight range of just under 12 hours per leg.
