The travel agent portal on the website has been re-launched with a new streamlined look.

The firm hopes the new-look website gives agents a faster ‘Look to Book’ journey with a “natural, easy navigation”, involving fewer clicks to get to the basket.

Based on agent feedback, says the changes make the sales process and commission calculator easier for agents to use.

Recently-appointed sales director Martin Lomax said: “Rebuilding the website was no mean feat. We track the schedules of nearly every commercial cruise ship in the world and co-ordinate with our excursions, which now number more than 12,000 in around 700 ports worldwide.

“The considerable investment in the travel agent portal on our website illustrates the value we put on our trade relations. We listened to feedback from agents and have incorporated a slicker, faster and clearer booking journey. The sale of ancillary products is a valuable source of income for travel agents and we hope the improvements we’ve made to our travel agents’ portal will create opportunity and help them drive sales of our shore excursions to maximise the earning potential.

“At the same time as investing in the website and whilst celebrating the company’s fifth anniversary, we thought it opportune to refresh the Cruising Excursions brand and introduce a cleaner, fresh logo.”
