UNIVERSAL Studios is to open its new Islands of Adventure theme park on May 10 – two months earlier than anticipated.
Travel agents are already selling entry tickets from July onwards, but they can now start selling earlier trips in time for the schools’ summer half-term holiday.
A company spokeswoman said: “Universal allowed for a margin of error when scheduling the opening, and it has completed the park earlier than expected.” A three-day pass to Islands of Adventure and the existing Universal Studios theme park costs ú62 per adult and ú50 per child.
