STAYING SAFE OFF-PISTE
The recent avalanches were not caused by off-piste skiers, but clients should adhere the following advice to stay safe and remain covered by insurance.
Hire or buy freeride skis
Have at least 10 weeks’ piste skiing experience already
Hire an Instructor or mountain guide and listen to their advice
Hire an avalanche transceiver and know how to use it
Check conditions – avalanche danger is published every day at the bottom of the main ski lifts. Danger is ranked from1-5, with 5 being the highest level of risk
