TRAVELSCENE BRINGS BACK BOSTON FOR 1999


Travelscene has reintroduced Boston to its 1999 Cities programme after a three-year absence. Featured are the three-star Midtown and four-star Radisson, with prices from £349 for two nights.


GETAWAY BOLSTERS NEW ENGLAND SELECTION


Getaway Vacations has added two Boston properties to its New England selection – the deluxe Regal Bostonian and Holiday Inn Newton. Prices lead in at £318 for two nights. The operator has added to its range of bed-and-breakfast inns, with two more in Cape Cod, one in Williamsburg and two on Rhode Island. Rates are from £23.


UNIVERSAL STUDIOS DISTRIBUTES MANUAL


New Orlando theme park and resort Universal Studios Escape is distributing 50,000 copies of its 1999 Travel Industry Reference Manual to UK agents. The publication details the complex, which includes Universal Studios Florida, the new Islands of Adventure theme park and CityWalk entertainment centre.
